Ethic's Policy
Apex Displays Leicester Ltd (ADL) has adopted the following ethics policy for its organisation.
ADL is a private registered UK company with a single office, warehouse and manufacturing site in the UK. ADL is a socially responsible business committed to commercial success whilst upholding the highest standards with regards to ethics and the environment.
These commitments are specifically related to the following: –
Build Trust and Credibility
The success of our business is dependent on the trust and confidence we earn from our employees, customers and shareholders. We have gained credibility over the years by adhering to our beliefs and commitments along with displaying honesty and integrity at all times whilst reaching our company goals solely through honourable conduct.
Employment
ADL adheres to, and is governed by, all UK employment legislation regarding pay, conditions and anti-discrimination law.
Employees have a right to freedom of association, union membership and collective bargaining to the extent permitted by law.
Employees receive additional development and training commensurate to, and often above, the requirements of their job function.
Employees are expected to uphold the company’s ethics in their internal and external activities and interactions at all times.
Open and Honest Communication
ADL strive to create an environment where everyone in its employment is free to speak his or her mind, particularly with respect to ethical concerns. It is the reasonability of our managers to create an open and supportive environment where employees feel comfortable raising issues and questions.
Tone set at the Top
In order to promote good ethical practices within the organisation senior management lead the way by demonstrating, through their actions, the importance of ethic’s in our business (ethical behaviour does not simply happen; it is the product of clear and direct communication of behavioural expectations, modelled from the top and demonstrated by example)

Our commitment to integrity begins with complying with laws, rules and regulations where we do business.
Financial Associations
ADL is committed to using banking services that that are more clearly working towards the company’s ethos than competitors. The company uses the banking services of Lloyds TSB. ADL does not make use of tax havens or tax avoidance mechanisms. ADL does not provide funding for any political parties, corporate lobby groups or other organisations engaged in political activities.
Involvement in Third Party Organisations
ADL supports and works with other organisations that we feel are in-keeping with our general aims and objectives. However, the use and support of these does not indicate, by participation, support of agreement with all statements made by such organisations.
Customer Care
ADL strives to provide customers with the highest quality customer service. The company is able to provide assurance to its customers of the quality of its products through the systems in place.
Quality
ADL is committed to provide products that meet our customer requirements for high quality. ADL strives to establish our customers’ needs and expectations and communicate these to our working team to ensure we consistently meet our customers’ requirements. This policy is communicated and understood by our staff at all levels, and is subject to annual review in order to keep it relevant, accurate and appropriate.
Supply Chain
ADL has a commitment to develop good and long-term working relationships with its suppliers. We are committed to the ethos that we will treat suppliers as we would wish to be treated ourselves. We operate purchasing controls and audit our suppliers through appropriate communication and assessment.
Health and Safety
ADL is governed to all UK health and safety regulations and legislation. Systems used by the company to adhere to legislation are assessed and developed annually with the aid of external consultants when needed. Employees receive frequent and recorded training with regards to these regulations.
Environmental and Ecological Impacts
ADL acknowledges that there is environmental consideration to be made during the normal day to day operation of the business and constantly review their systems to take into consideration issues such as waste, energy, packaging as well as transport & distribution.
ADL is committed to maintaining a low environmental impact in its activities.
Commitment to Maintaining Standards
ADL has a commitment to maintain the standards outlined above through continuous monitoring and periodic auditing processes, both internal and, where appropriate, by external bodies and consultants.
